Our final game of the season was played in a fantastic atmosphere
and a glimmer of a crowd. Yes we had a good turnout for the
last game of the season AT HOME IN KIMPTON. Thanks to everyone
who made their way to the Recreation Ground to cheer our lads
on.
The 1st team deservedly took 4th spot after
a thrilling 3-0 win over Inn on the Green. It was a very competitive
game but an excellent game played in a very sporting manner
to finish the season. Our 1st team have been required to play
all their fixtures away from home with this one exception.
A hard season, a little inconsistent at times but finishing
the season in a flourish of 4 wins from the last 4 league
games. With a little more hard work on the training ground
and a consistent attitude throughout next season and we could
be challenging for a higher level of football next year.
So keep up the good work everybody and through
this note I would like to pass my congratulations to Dane
(our 1st team manager) and his lads for a season we shall
all remember.
